  • If you are writing about a specific bill, mention the bill's name and number, what it does and whether you support it or not.
Second/third Paragraph:
  • Include reasons for your support or opposition to the bill.
  • Include examples (another state's statute).
Last paragraph:
  • Ask for a response.
  • Thank them for their time.
