Q. Where will our session be?
I can come to your home/office or we can meet at an outdoor location, such as the beach or a park. Pets are welcome, but please bring them on a leash and be mindful of laws at certain beaches and parks.
The session fee will cover my travel expenses within the Bourne-Falmouth-Yarmouth area. Anywhere further will be an additional cost.
Q. How long will the session last?
Sessions typically run from 45-60 minutes in length. Additional time can be purchased for a fee.
For outdoor photo sessions, morning or early evening will generally have the most interesting light for your photographs. I prefer to schedule sessions between 30 minutes and an hour after sunrise or 2-3 hours before sunset.
Q. What should we wear?
Solid colors that coordinate look best. Faces and expression are the most important elements, for this reason keep the clothes simple - avoid writing or branding and shiny material.
Q. Can we bring our own cameras to the session?
I respectfully request family members do not use their own cameras during the session. I will need everyone's full attention and other cameras could be distracting.
Q. How many final images will there be?
There will be around 40 final images that are a combination of black & white and color images.
Q. When will we get our pictures?
Approximately two weeks after your session you will be able to see completed proofs. This is when you will select your images and place your order for prints. Prints usually take another two weeks to be developed by the lab and returned.
